Who sees my location?

Ordinary location sharing is off until you enable it in Ride tools. Choose Public to share with all signed-in Wayborne riders, or choose a group you belong to so only that group can retrieve your active position. Turn it off any time. It also stops when you pause or leave a ride, and expires after two minutes without a fresh update.

GPS permission and saved ride tracks are separate from live sharing. An active roadside help request has its own audience and stop control.
